Confessions of a Cosmic Wanderer

About Me

I'm a fellow traveller aboard this strange, beautiful, occasionally bewildering spaceship we call Earth.

A thinker, a dreamer, a creative soul, and someone who has spent much of life questioning the nature of reality, consciousness, existence, and what it truly means to be human.

I've lived with a diagnosis of schizophrenia for many years. Along the way, I've encountered experiences that have challenged my understanding of myself and the world around me. Some have been frightening, others fascinating, and many have left me with more questions than answers.

But I am not my diagnosis. Nor do I believe any human being can be adequately described by a collection of labels.

My interests wander freely between philosophy, psychology, spirituality, ancient wisdom, modern science, music, art, and the mysteries of the cosmos. I'm fascinated by the connections between seemingly unrelated ideas and by the extraordinary complexity of ordinary human existence.

I believe in compassion, curiosity, humour, and the importance of questioning our assumptions, including our own.

I don't profess to possess hidden truths or extraordinary wisdom. I'm simply someone attempting to make sense of an existence that, when you really stop and think about it, is wonderfully peculiar.

A Schizo's Guide to the Galaxy is a collection of reflections, experiences, creative explorations, philosophical wanderings, and occasional excursions into the downright ridiculous.

Some things here may make you think. Others might make you laugh. A few might leave you scratching your head.

And that's perfectly fine.

After all, perhaps the greatest adventure isn't discovering all the answers, but learning to appreciate the questions.

Welcome to my little corner of the galaxy.

Mind the existential potholes.
